Welcome to the International Montessori Council.
The International Montessori Council (IMC) is a world-wide umbrella organization of Montessori schools and the men and women who lead them, own them, or serve on their boards. Its focus is on issues of concern to Montessori school leaders: administration, curriculum development, recruitment and hiring, supervising teachers and staff, insurance, finance, facilities, working with boards, recruitment, building community, fund raising, public relations, and so forth.
At $250 USD a year, school membership is rather inexpensive, and the benefits are of great value to schools.
This website contains a wealth of information open to the public.
Many more articles, videos, pdf books and other resources are available to members in our password protected members area.

As we reflect on what our affiliation with the International Montessori Council has really meant – we are overwhelmed with how much has been achieved. It has been the most enormous amount of work – but don’t be put off – we are a fussy lot ‘downunder’ and just wanted to get it right from the start! Secondly, we are not procrastinators, so we tend to take on everything!
